For the future, or maybe another incarnation will be bigger or done with a different program.

There's always something new to learn! That's why I love art.Amy Lewarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03166740674200029047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468415387821308222.post-5752752193302426812015-03-17T14:58:57.075-07:002015-03-17T14:58:57.075-07:00Amy, I'm so impressed with what you've bee...Amy, I'm so impressed with what you've been producing with that tablet of yours! I think you're successfully merging the worlds of traditional and digital mediums to come up with a contemporary style all your own. You are demonstrating that art is so much about how one sees the world...
I love that you pulled inspiration from a snapshot in Southern California, the Xylem exhibit and a vase of flowers from your husband; synthesizing it all into this rich & beautiful image. (I have found myself gazing at the stems in a glass vase we have at home with shells in the bottom, wanting to paint it too).
Does this image have a high pixel resolution that you could upload to Fine Art America to make prints? I think it would be lovely to see framed on the wall...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07439475132507937724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468415387821308222.post-69090866789020885892015-03-17T12:48:50.852-07:002015-03-17T12:48:50.852-07:00Thank you, Nelia! I confess that when I got to it, I felt the palette kind of lacking, so I added a deeper blue/green to help create more depth.

I've picked my palette for next Monday. I'm scanning for shapes, now.

Thanks for the challenge!Amy Lewarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03166740674200029047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468415387821308222.post-86038063187410752432015-03-17T08:47:08.563-07:002015-03-17T08:47:08.563-07:00Lovely!
